People were eager to learn more about small scale fish farming and the benefits it can bring to their families. The guys from Rukwa Valley brought up 700 small fingerlings which were sold after the seminar to those who are ready to seed their ponds. Our biggest problem right now is, where to get more fingerlings. Since we introduced the first pond at the tree nursery in Mumba, we have been suprprised to learn that 24 new ponds have been prepared in Mumba village. Together with two other nearby villages there are now 74 ponds in various states of preparation.<br /><br />Anyone know how we can get more small fish to help get these ponds up and running?
